Half Life 2 Head Crab Shell
This is another one from Half Life 2… the Head Crab Shell. I modeled this in Solidworks to be 3D printed but it was based off the original game models. I changed a few things in the design to make it more easily printable and I also added a few details because the game models are a little wacky when it comes to certain areas of the design but it’s about it’s about 95% accurate to the original game model.
It was airbrushed and hand painted with a mix of Createx Colors and Acrylic paints.
The hoses for the spray activators are just pieces of small wire and the base was textured with spot Glazing Putty.
I actually made this as a pen holder for my Computer Desk it’s about 5 1/2″ tall.
