Custom Backpacking Spinner Box

Not the most exciting project but this is a simple custom box for holding my spinners for trout fishing. It’s just an example of another great thing you can make with 3D printing.  This box is actually just a derivative of this one I made before for other lures but this time resized to hold all of my spinners for trout fishing.

This one is double sided to hold both my Spinners and Joe’s Flies. (which are basically Spinners with flies attached.)  I highly recommend these lures as they work amazing.

The boxes are printed in PETG as two separate half’s and then just super glued together after.

Here they are after being glued together.

The hinge pin is just a piece of filament with the ends melted flat.

This was designed for quick backpack fishing with my telescoping pole so the entire thing just fits in the back pocket of my jeans.

Here are some of the trout I’ve caught using this setup and Joe’s Flies.

Think this is a Brown Trout.
