Weedless NED Hex Wrigglerz

This is another simple NED type bait I designed for some weedless action.
The design for this bait centers around a DO-IT Weedless Midwest Finesse Jig head which uses a size 1 Victory 10777 EWG hook. I started the design with a picture of the hook in the jig mold.
First I designed the actually Jig head/hook combo in CAD.
After that I designed the bait to match the Jig head.
The overall design is pretty basic but I made the body in a Hexagon shape just for something different.
Next I printed up a two cavity test mold. I neglected to check my print settings so I had some gaps in the ribs but this really wasn’t a problem.
The first batches came out really well and injected pretty clean.
Here is one all rigged up.
The next step was to go back increase the mold to a five cavity. This time I used the correct print settings too.
Now it’s just a matter of getting them wet and testing them out.

I haven’t had a chance to fish these myself yet but I sent a bunch to Nate Marling as part of a bait trade group we are in together and he caught a few fish on them so I guess they are “Offishal”.

This is a new 2″ version of the Wrigglerz which can also be purchased on CULTS3D.com. This was done on request so…. I have not printed or tested this version yet so I don’t know if it will be to skinny or what size hook/head combo it will use.
Same as the original mold just smaller size.
I will update with more info as soon as I get around to actually printing and testing this size.
