Topwater Popper
STL’s for this lure are available for purchase from Cults3d.com
Here we have your basic topwater popper. I was designed after some random blank I received in a wrong shipment of crankbait blanks from Amazon.
I took a stab at making it just to see if I could figure out the geometry in CAD. I think it turned out pretty good.
It prints out pretty well and I used 2 BB’s in the rear section for weights and sinker eyes for attachment points.
I airbrushed the first one in a violet color because I’ve had a lot of luck on purple topwaters before and just wanted to do something different.
Hopefully this color delivers as well as it has in the past. I’ll probably go back and add skit to the rear hook as soon as I can dig out my fly tying stuff.
The second one was done in a typical frog pattern…
… and should be good around the lily pads.
I did slightly different mouths on each of these to see if there is a difference in the “pop” action but I haven’t been able to test them yet.
Success!

I’ve just started 3D printing, I would like to thank you very much if you can send me the print file of this fish model
Files for this are not available yet but they will be released as soon as I finish testing them.
