I built this plane a as a test bed, I just bought a Futaba 6XA and I wanted to test out all the functions such as flaps and air brakes. I needed a plane with twin Aileron servos so I scratch built up a wing and I copied the dimensions from a friends Duraplane. It flew great and did some incredible flat spins too. I also used it to test a Macs Smokes system and to break in other engines when needed. It has sense been retired which is another plane a regret getting rid of because it flew great for a brick 🙂
Photo op on the runway.
Taking of from a friends field in Mass.
Here was the ground test with the Mac’s smoke system. I flew it with the tank strapped to the out side of the plane , it worked pretty good this way.
